No one ever believes the first person to cry “supernatural!” in a horror movie, whether it’s Regan in the Exorcist or Danny in the Shining. In Haunt, add to the list of nay-sayers the filmmakers themselves, who have apparently never seen The House on Haunted Hill, and are blithely unfamiliar with the ironic death usually met by those who question the existence of ghosts:
Haunt is from Oren Brimer - check out his website, an all-you-can-eat buffet of funny that includes work for Superdeluxe and Nerve.com. Haunt costars comedian T.J. Miller, who we rarely see but constantly hear in this month’s monster-by-camcorder smash Cloverfield.
